Some call it chronic procrastination, others even qualify it as a pandemic. One thing is for sure : We have been fighting this universal behavior coming up with limitless recipes and prescriptions, in the hope to get rid of it. Still, procrastination can be resilient and even smart, mutating alongside our daily life invaded by all sorts of pocket distractions and multiple responsibilities.

And when procrastination hits again, in one area of our lives or another, the resulting feelings and self-talk may be negative which dramatically escalate into limiting beliefs likely to impact our pursuit of that specific action we procrastinate on, and furthermore!

Procrastinating doesn’t define you!

When this happens over and over again, some assumptions commonly arise :

  • I am definitely lazy.
  • I don’t have skills to make it.
  • I never have the time to jump in.
  • I am not made for this task.

Such associations not only legitimize and empower procrastination, they also harm your self-esteem in every area of your life. Identifying as a lazy or powerless person is the best way to fail your upcoming goals…
